George is the Extended Campus Director for Muhlenberg Community College. His duties involve supervision of the Muhlenberg County satellite in Central City (where his office is) and serving as the first contact for all other programs outside of Madisonville, such as those courses offered by the college in the Madisonville Community College’s six-county district of Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Webster, Crittenden, Caldwell, and McLean counties, as well as courses taught for dual credit with high schools in Henderson county.

George has a B.A. and M.A. from Murray State University and a PhD from the University of Oklahoma in history. He comes to Madisonville CC after nearly 25 years as a professional staff director with the Oklahoma Legislature. He was a co-author of a standard text on Oklahoma state government. He will teach political science and history courses for the college.
