Webmail Instructions

The following instructions will help you access your KCTCS Webmail account. Remember that this account is the college's official means of communicating with you, so check it often.

  1. Go to https://webmail.kctcs.edu
  2. Select "New Account Activation"
  3. Enter your last name and your nine digit student ID (ex: 001111100)
    • This number is available from the Admissions office. It is often listed at the top of your registration card.
  4. Click "Sign In".
  5. Your name should then appear on the screen. Select "yes" if correct.
  6. Your e-mail account information should appear on the screen. Write this information down or print this page. It is important to have this information for future reference.
    • If you do not have access to a printer, make sure you write down your username (ex: jsmith0004) and your new email address (ex: jsmith0004@kctcs.edu).
  7. Set your password.
    • The password must be at least 8 characters long. It must include uppercase (A-Z) and lowercase (a-z) characters and numbers (0-9) or symbols (%#@). You cannot use your name within your password.

Once you have completed these steps, you can log onto student webmail by returning to https://webmail.kctcs.edu/exchange. Email is generated after registration occurs; however, you can set up your email account at any time.
