Online Registration
The following instructions will help you register for classes online using PeopleSoft. You may wish to print these instructions for reference using your browser's Print feature. (File > Print on most browsers.)
Your advisor must unlock your account before you will have online registration access.
- Access PeopleSoft through the student portal at https://students.kctcs.edu.
- Select "Login Here". You will be directed to a login page.
- Type your login credentials in the appropriate boxes and click the "Sign In" button.
- This is the same UserID and Password you use to access your Student E-mail Account.
- Select "Self Service"
- Select "Enrollment: My Class Schedule"
- Select the correct semester in the "Select Term" box. Select "Change"
- Select "Add"
- In the "Class Nbr" field, enter the unique 5-digit class number. Select "Enter."
- If you see a green check mark next to a class, then you were successfully enrolled in that class.
- If you see a red X next to a class, then you are unable to enroll in that class. Check for problems such as the class being full or your not having met the prerequisites for enrolling.
- Select "Next."
- Repeat steps 6 and 7 as needed to register for additional classes.
- When you are finished adding classes, select "Proceed to Step 2 of 3"
- Confirm that your schedule is correct.
- If your schedule is not correct, select "Previous" and make the required modifications.
- If your schedule is correct, select "Finish Enrolling".
- When you see the view results page, ensure that your registration was successful.
- If you see a green check mark next to a class, then you were successfully enrolled in that class.
- If you see a red X next to a class, then you are unable to enroll in that class. Check for problems such as the class being full or your not having met the prerequisites for enrolling.
- Select "My Class Schedule" to display a printable copy of your schedule.
